After-school Enrichment

The Maddux School has typically offered a variety of weekly after-school enrichment opportunities for kindergarten through second grade students.  Club options have previously included:

Tennis Mondays
Our goal is to have fun and make tennis available to all children by improving confidence, health & fitness, hand-eye coordination and social skills.  Activities:  Warm-up and stretching; ball-handling & racket games; hand-eye coordination games; forehand/backhand strokes and group games.  With Coach Neale Castillo & Teacher Michelle Mahon.

Soccer Wednesdays
This is an opportunity for physical activity, fun & friendship!  We’ll engage in friendly competition within a supportive environment and work on enhancing gross motor skills.  With Coach Jonah Schuman, Brit-Am Soccer Academy, & Teacher Carla Kasun.

Super Science Fridays
Through a series of scientific experiments, children will explore energy, marvel at magnetism, ponder physics and wonder about weather!  We’ll inspire curiosity and learning while focusing on attention-to-detail, following step-by-step directions, and working together as a team.  With Learning Specialist Brenna Haffner & Teacher Michelle Mahon.
