Admission Process

Welcome to The Maddux School! We understand choosing a school for your child is a big decision and we are here to help. If you have any questions about our school, admisisons process or whether The Maddux School is right for your child, please feel free to contact us.

  1. Attend a Parent Information Session & Tour to learn more about The Maddux School.  Please email to schedule a telephone meeting and to register.                                   
  2. Submit a completed application packet including ApplicationTeacher Recommendation Form & Non-refundable Application Fee of $100.00.  Please click here for a Checklist of Admission Items.

  3. Include all available diagnostic reports and developmental evaluations.  Formal admission testing is not required.

  4. Child’s current teacher should complete a Teacher Recommendation form and mail directly to The Maddux School by January 31.

  5. Appropriate candidates participate in group admissions visits at The Maddux School.  Prospective student visits are scheduled in February and March.

  6. An Admissions Team member may arrange to observe an applicant in his/her current school setting or to speak directly to a familiar therapist or teacher.

  7. Admission decisions are announced by the end of March.

  8. New student enrollment contracts are due in early April accompanied by a $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit to be applied to your child’s tuition.
